Inconsistent Triggers Running

EnvironmentProduct: Rollbase Private Cloud
Question/Problem Description
Triggers will run inconsistently for the same routine. Sometimes it changes the status to "Completed" and sometimes to "Finished".
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
A trigger in ObjectA is set to run "On Field change" = "Any Update" updating workflow status and has the following code:
if('{!isSent}' == 'true' ){ return "Completed";}
Another trigger is set to "Run triggers on Related Record" (ObjectB) and spend a few seconds in a LOOP count before updating ObjectA status to "Finished".
Error Message
Defect/Enhancement Number
The "Run triggers on Related Record" is causing the triggers "After update" to run twice in ObjectA reverting back the status to "Completed" instead of "Finished" (previously set by the dependent trigger).
Change the trigger in ObjectA to run "On Field change" = a specific field instead of "Any Update".
