Change in wsFederation ignored with Sitefinity 10

Question/Problem Description
With Sitefinity 10.x, changes in web.config's <wsFederation> tag are ignored by Sitefinity

OpenID authentication, which is the default with Sitefinity 10, does not rely on the settings in the <wsFederation> tag
Only Single Web Token authentication will take into account changes in wsFederation. For this:
  • Go to Administration / Settings / Advanced / Authentication
  • Set the authentication protocol to Single Web Token
  • Save changes
  • Restart the Sitefinity project
