Defect/Enhancement Number
Cause
Backup is being performed on a RAID 5 disk. Additionally probkup online stores the Before Image along with the backup.

Resolution
Avoid to do the backup in on a RAID 5 disk. Do the backup to a local non-RAID 5 disk first,  then copy the backup to the RAID 5 disk.

Storage rate increased to around 33 MB/min.

Note: It is important to highlight that incremental online backups are much less efficient than incremental offline ones. This is inherent in the design of the probkup online.
