Information
Progress Software is pleased to announce the commercial availability of OpenEdge 11.5!

A key innovation is the next generation Pacific Application Server for OpenEdge that significantly improves the scalability and performance of OpenEdge applications as compared to the OpenEdge AppServer, and uses the common Pacific Application Server shared by Rollbase, Corticon, and now OpenEdge. The Pacific Application Server for OpenEdge is available in addition to the OpenEdge AppServer.

There are many additional features delivered with OpenEdge 11.5 across the component products, and also the introduction of the Advanced Enterprise Edition RDBMS that bundles the OpenEdge Enterprise RDBMS with all of the database add-ons: Transparent Data Encryption, Multi-tenant Tables, Table Partitioning, Replication Plus and OpenEdge Management.

For details please review the OpenEdge 11.5 New and Revised Features document:

For more information on upgrading to OpenEdge 11.5, including moving to the Pacific Application Server for OpenEdge or to the Advanced Enterprise Edition RDBMS, please contact your Sales Representative or Progress Customer Service.
