Question/Problem Description
OpenEdge Explorer flashes and gets continuous "connecting to <IP Address>" message.
OpenEdge Explorer allows login, but appears to connect and disconnect rapidly.
Steps to Reproduce
Clarifying Information
There are multiple versions of OpenEdge installed on the system.
Error is evident in more than one browser type.
Error MessageError in <date>.request.log:
<IP address> -- [<date, time>] "GET /menu/tocres.jsp HTTP/1.1" 200 0
Defect/Enhancement Number
OpenEdge Explorer is using the older version of the OpenEdge installation due to the installation being written into the same directory as the
previous version during installation.

Example:  Trying to use 11.5 version of OpenEdge Explorer and the 10.2B version loads in the browser.
Uninstall OpenEdge and reinstall in separate directories.
