This is a limitation of the Windows Themes manager.

Windows ignores the foreground color settings for toggle-boxes and radio-sets when a manifest file is used.

There are several possible workarounds for Windows users:

  • Use the Windows Classic theme for the desktop
  • Disable the use of the manifest file
  • Change the color theme of the application to not require special colors for radio set and toggle box labels.
