Some colors do not work with Windows themes and manifest files.
The toggle box color is ignored and the check mark is displayed as green.
The toggle box label foreground color is ignored.
Radio set and toggle box color settings are ignored.

Cause

This is a limitation of the Windows Themes manager.

Windows ignores the foreground color settings for toggle-boxes and radio-sets when a manifest file is used.
 

Resolution

There are several possible workarounds for Windows users:

  • Use the Windows Classic theme for the desktop
  • Disable the use of the manifest file
  • Change the color theme of the application to not require special colors for radio set and toggle box labels.
